Mission of Joy began in 1989, and is an IRS recognized non-profit organization whose purpose is to reach India with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mission of Joy provides full-time care for more than 200 orphans and homeless children in Eastern India. We have evangelized, built and established more than 50 churches and sponsor our Pastors who minister there.

Mission of Joy holds evangelistic outreaches each winter and spring for 100 consecutive nights and saw more than 100,000 come to the Lord in the first 4 years of our existence. After that we left the numbers to the Lord.

Mission of Joy meets physical needs by digging wells, paving roads, providing free medical care, AIDS education, fire and flood relief, clothing and food distribution. We do all that God enables us to do to relieve the suffering in a nation of a billion impoverished souls. We also provide pastoral training annually to 150 pastors and churches in Eastern India.

Mission of Joy seeks to minimize our overhead costs in the United States so more funds can reach India. Give to Mission of Joy!

In the past 15 years, our expenses have been less than 10%.

We seek only the reward of Jesus words: "Come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom of Heaven prepared for you. For I was hungry and you gave me drink; a stranger and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; sick and you visited me; in prison and you came to me." (Matt 25:34-36)
